They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

                                        Acts 2:42

WebFlocks_JeffChilli.jpgFLOCKS:  Following the Lord in loving Others, Communion, Koinonia and the Word. In Acts chapter 2 we read that the early church would meet together in homes for fellowship and prayer. The home fellowships (FLOCKS) at Countryside exist to meet the needs of the Body of Christ.

In small group fellowships lifelong relationships are formed, burdens are carried, ministry is mutual, sinners are saved, and saints are built up. Many needs are discovered and met through small group ministry that would never come to the attention of pastors in a larger worship setting. It's the Body relating as Family.

In Acts 2:42 it says: "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." So, in each FLOCKS group you will find:

Bible study in a small informal setting, perfect for questions and discussion

Fellowship where you can just relax and be yourself

Breaking of Bread, worship in communion and song

A place to pray and be prayed for

WebFlocks_FamCampbigger.jpgFLOCKS Fellowships meet on the first and third Sundays of the month at the times noted. Everyone is invited to attend so bring your Bibles, your questions and an open heart.

On the second and fourth Sundays of the month, the FLOCKS groups, along with the whole of the body, gather for a Believers Service in the sanctuary at Countryside. The relationships and trust built in FLOCKS becomes the foundation for our expression and worship to the Lord during these services.
