Kids Worship and Nursery Ministries and care for children ages birth through 6th grades are provided during the Sunday and Thursday services. Ministries and care are available for ages birth through 6th grade. The nursery is fully staffed and there are age appropriate Bible studies for all children. Our Thursday night staff keeps the interest of our kids with Bible stories, games, crafts, and activities. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the Believers Services childcare is provided for ages birth through 2nd grade. Children in grades 3 through 6 are encouraged to take part in the service and participate in the body, ministering to one another. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month there are Flocks home fellowships meeting throughout the Eugene/Springfield area. Check the Flocks site for which locations have childcare or ministry for children. Currently no children's ministry activities are provided for Wednesday's Morning Worship or the Friday Night Prayer Fellowship, but many children are involved in these ministries also. Children who can participate are encouraged to do so. Kids above the 6th grade are encouraged to involve themselves in Countryside's Youth Ministries and the various Bible studies at Countryside. Throughout the year the Kids Ministries department provides many areas where children can be involved, like VBS, the Family Campout and all kinds of special events. These activities happen on Saturdays during the school-year, and on various days throughout the summer. Each summer Countryside has a summer camp which includes various activities

At Countryside, we love children. We have been blessed by the Lord in that He has raised up a Kids Ministry where we, as Jesus said, "Go...Teach." We have an incredible privilege and responsibility, along with parents, to teach and nurture each precious child in the grace and knowledge of the Lord.
In 2 Peter 3:18 we're told: "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." So, our desire for each child 
is: 1) That they know the Bible is God's revealed truth to man and to "hide His words in their hearts that they might not sin against God." 2) To show them that there is a loving Father who created them, loves them, provided a way through His Son that they can know Him, and has a wonderfully unique plan for their life. 3) To develop Christ's character in them that they, "would grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man." 4) To teach the children to share the love of Jesus with others.
Sunday morning during the 10:00 Worship Gathering, the nursery is fully staffed and the elementary classes (3 years-6th grade) attend their own Kids Worship service and Bible studies. The Kids Worship service includes all children (3 through 5th grade) joining together in praise to the Lord, before they move into age-appropriate Bible studies. Our Bible studies are fun and creative with lots of Bible stories, crafts, songs and games to engage the children in the study of God's Word and in fellowship. Our curriculum follows a through the Bible teaching approach similar to the studies for the adults at Countryside.

Countryside Kids Summer Camp
(BBQs, trips to the coast, a kids camp-out, etc.) Events happen throughout the summer. This is a great time to teach the children "To live as Christ…" (Philippians 1:21) in everything they do. Each time we get together we get into the Word, pray, and have a great time of fellowship. Summer time is a wonderful season of joy and relaxation with Countryside Kids.
